Never once beleived that soulmates could meet on internet but now acknowledge that people are destined to meet and they reach horizons at some point beyond the barriers of human kind. It still seems like a dream...but yes.. it has come true... I first came across Ushma's profile in December 2003. We started writing e-mails, Where we discussed about ourselves and gave our family details to each other, through phone, chatting over the internet for hours and hours! Ush wasnt very keen on making a move on the relationship... It took ages to convince her!! We didnt meet physically til 7months, just imagine.. though we were jus 3 1/2 hours away from each other. I guess god jus didnt want us to meet till then. We meet each on July 5th, 2004. We kept our relationship going us best buddies for almost 6months. In Dec 2004, I proposed to her and her answer was finnally YES. My Search was finnally finshed, thanks to Shaadi.com. We both really thank Shaadi.com for bringing us together to start a new life. We then got engaged on JANUARY 16, 2005, and tide the knot on MAY 29, 2005. It was simply miraculous...in fact Amit and I were destined to be together, and it was Shaadi.com which catalyzed this miracle. While creating my profile, I wasn't even sure whether I would find a match on this site, forget about writing this success story!! Actually, even before Shaadi.com, one of my uncles told my parents about this very good looking guy, who worked as a banker and comes form a very good family. That time the talks remained only at the parental level. Both of us were perhaps scared of some things and made silly excuses. Amit and I had not even met each other and did not know anything about each other at that time. Anyhow, days passed by, and as luck would have it, I decided to finally upload my pictures on Shaadi.com. On Sep. 23, 2004, I uploaded two pics of mine on Sep. 24th, Amit's parents responded, Sep. 26th, we met and went for the most beautiful drive of our life. After this meeting, finally, on Sep. 30, 2004, both of us decided to tie the knotwe went back home and told our parents to go ahead with everything. It was just so very quick that both of us were ourselves surprised. Two people who were not even willing to meet each other initially, finally decided to marry each other. All because of Shaadi.com, if we hadn't seen each other's profile, we would never have decided to meet and things would never have gone this far. Actually, later on it was revealed that it was not his parents, but it was Amit himself who had responded after seeing my profile! Had it not been for Shaadi.com, we wouldn't have known what we were missingand once we saw what was it that we would have missed, we just didn't wait anymore and simply went ahead to grab it Just hope that Shaadi.com goes on giving people what they have missed all their lives and it goes on fulfilling people's hopes forever

I would like to thank SHAADI.COM for making us one. Shaadi.com is a wonderful website to find partner. At first I haven't believed that it is going to be possible through the website. We both were not a paid member. One of my friend who introduce to this wonderful website, we manage to meet online from her help. We met online and chatted for most of the day, sometimes 8 hours a day, everyday with webcam, call each other on the phone. We decided to meet in Hong Kong. My partner travels many miles, half way around the world to meet me all the way from Hawaii to Hong Kong. We were very nervous to meet each other. At first we became friends.When he return we chatted and I decided to meet him in Hawaii and we fell in love in Hawaii. Again he came to Hong Kong to meet and decided to propose me on his birthday 23 October 2004 and we got married in Feb 14, 2005 on my birthday in Hawaii. Dear Shaadi.com team: Anjali (aspt) and I (Vagabond_Heart) would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. It all started the day some of our friends persuaded us to put our profiles on some online matrimonial sites with the objective of settling down with a deserving life partner. Initially, I was a little skeptical about the seriousness of people registering on such sites, but gradually, as the responses and contacts increased and I started communicating with the profiles, I realised that this site was indeed an excellent means of exploring the realms of matrimony, without the traditional "pandit" and "family-friend" interference. I met quite a few profiles through this site. Some didn't like me eventually whilst I did not like some. To summarise, things did not get finalised in the almost 6-8 months that I had my profile registered on the site. Then, one day, I contacted Anjali and she accepted my contact. Like most Internet-savvy people, we began interacting with each other through the myriads of chat options available on the net and then through telephone. Luckily for us, both were in the same city and hence this did not present itself as a logistical problem! :D Finally, the one thing that always gave me the jitters presented itself. Both of us wanted to meet each other and see what we were like in real life. We met on that fateful Sunday, when both of us went out for coffee. What seemed like a quite evening, ended up with a very luke-warm response from Anjali. Finally, the sales professional in me, and my persuasive skills came into action, and after some long persuasive chats on the phone, the messenger and loads of patience, Anjali finally relented and we decided to settle down into matrimony. I had met her parents, whilst she had met my mother. Finally, her parents met my mother last month and the alliance was finalised. We would like to thank you for all your facilitation, although the engagement is yet to take place (at the time of writing this mail to you).

About Me:Valentina aka Val Well, I'm actually settled in Bahrain...in the Middle East.I have had some bad luck with love in the past and when I saw the Shaadi ad on television, I was curious and pretty apprehensive about joining the site and meeting different people around the world...I was more scared..I mean who wouldn't after hearing horrifying stories about inet dating..Anyhow, I joined with the soul intention of making friends. About HIM -Christopher aka Chris Well, He's actually from Calcutta but settled and working in Chennai. Quite an amazing guy. Everything that I was looking in a man. I can't say the perfect guy as no one is perfect...not even me...but he is someone who turned my world the right side up. About us... It was on August 17,2004 when someone buzzed me on Shaadi messenger and that's when the story began. We connected quite quickly and soon our ever so short friendship turned to love..and I can proudly say that its gonna be a year since we have known each other.Calls were obviously the expensive option of chatting up..but that didn't stop us mind you, but it was Shaadi Messenger that really did the trick. I like many others spend most of our days at work and hence had access to the inet while I was there. MSN & Yahoo messengers didn't work for the both of us due to the Firewall but strange enough it was only Shaadi Messenger that worked. I am glad to announce that our wedding has been scheduled for the 20th of May 2006 and trust me we can't wait...Y the delay I hear u ask..well all due to some unavoidable circumstances. I would like to re-iterate that Shaadi for the both of us has been a blessing in disguise. I believe there is always someone out there but we need to be patient and trust in God as he knows best. I would also like to also thank Mr. Anupam Mittal for his innovative idea to join hearts wherever they may be. This site is indeed safe when it came to members replys and also while shopping online.
